Her Way Of Life
The tears welled up in her ebony eyes
She felt her vein pulsating furiously on her forehead
And slowly one by one
The tears dropped treacherously down.
Her voice raised by a pitch and scratched her throat
Words and phrases came gushing out
Of her livid mouth like a torrent of electricity
Bursting through the dams and barrages.
She could feel her anger pulsating in her body
From her forehead to her toes, rushing up and down
As the seconds went by it swelled
Growing until her restraint disappeared.
She was exasperated with the black and white
Details of her insipid life
She would mute her ears and turn a blind eye
Revealing ethereality in her confidential realm.
Her vexations and petulance rolled
Slowly down the hill
Collecting together into a gigantic ball
Crushing her prior jocular personality.
Standing on the highway of life
Where are the lights to guide her?
Shall none of the bystanders offer a helping hand?
Maybe I should.
XOXO
