Number 6:
Shane flopped down onto the bed and began to wonder what made him do that. Not just the kiss, no it wasn't even a kiss, just a light brush of lips. Yes that was all it was. He fantasised about what could happen if they had continued doing whatever it was that they were doing. But then he stopped himself just in case it got too far. He hated the way he could not just let go of the past. And how he could not just give up on something. His egotastical side told him she wanted him and probably still does now. He smirked as he remembered her wild and bewildered look. It brought him to tears thinking of it.
She could feel her heart pounding in her chest and her breath short and ragged as her chest heaved up and down tiredly. No doubt her thoughts would be going akin in the morning when she wakes up but now nothing was in her mind except for the bittersweet taste of him. Clouds had filled the sky and the atmosphere was foggy, obscuring her view completely. But she was willing to take the chance and get away from him. His house was massive. Just running down the long, spiralled staircase left her out of breath. She seriously needed to start her training program all over again. As her hand brushed against the key cabinet by the corridor, she remembered one more thing. His car key.
Driving had always never been her best skill but she shoved the key into the ignition with no hesitation. As the car engine revved up, she felt hersellf do so too. No way was she going to let this person who beared no significance in her life whatsoever ruin her next few days. The time on the dashboard flickered and beeped as it turned twelve midnight. 'No wonder I feel like crap. Who wouldn't with a minimally good-looking guy kissing you during urgently needed beauty sleep?' she thought.
