Number 10:

At that very moment those knives looked especially razor-edged. " I'm glad to hear that, Mr. Gunner." That was about as much as she would allow herself to say. He gave her a killer grin and replied, "Looking forward to meeting you soon, Ms. Faunne." She pulled her eyes away from his seducing eyes and gave her class a glance. The brand new female fan club of his was currently drooling at his pecs while the guys were trying hard to distract their attention to no avail. Apparently she was the only person of the female sex who has not succumbed to that devilish grin and addctive charm.

Being in the class was pure torture. She felt his eyes piercing into her flesh, seeing everything that she tried so hard to veil.

"Can anyone tell me anything about the Tudors?" he questioned. She raised her hand, and answered, " The Tudor period started with King Henry the Seventh. His son, King Henry the Eight became one of the most famous kings ever lived because he started the Reformation." With every word that was uttered, she grew more and more agitated. She hoped that this would be the last time he would come in to substitute.

The bell rang loud and long. That signified the end of torture and the beginning of freedom for her. She grabbed her books and swept her big skirt up and left the room in a rush. But he was too quick for his own good. He walked briskly and caught up with her and pulled her by the elbow and dragged her into his office.

"We need to talk." He said firmly. "You bet." I retorted. " What, why, how come, and until when?" I fired.

He said," Calm down. This is my job too you know. I intend to keep it." He ran his hand through his wavy dark hair, tempting her mercilessly. "I'm going to do the best that I can to do whatever it takes to make our relationship as pleasurable as possible. You understand?" "Re-la-tion-ship?" She emphasized the syllables. "What relationship?" Shane had never been the kind of guy to "express his feelings" and "show people how he felt", so although he was quite hurt he didn't show it.
